About Me

Kellin and I have been together since 2000, married in 2006. I am teaching 5th grade and he is an accounts manager for Swanson Bookkeeping. We stay busy, and can't believe that our first born and beautiful son, Aiden will soon be THREE in December!

Toes and a Thumb!

Aiden has been discovering so many new things this past two weeks, he now can grab his toes to eat them, has discovered that his thumb can be a self-soother sometimes and that sitting up (with a bit of props behind you) is pretty cool! He also decided letting your face be smooshed into the floor was not cool, so just pull it up and with the tiniest bit of help from mom or dad rolling over is pretty funny! There is also all this stretching, smiling and hugging little blankie that is cool.
AMAZING how each day holds endless possibilities when the whole world is out there for you!

My personal favorite...

I love this photo so much...there is too many to choose from but this one is so curious, it totally epitomizes Aiden's stage right now- always looking.

Really Too Cute for Words

What can I say...they are precious!

The Bumpo!

Aiden loves to sit in the window in his Bumpo Seat and just stare outside. He will sit there for literally an hour before he realizes that he wants to be with someone. It is great and we love to just watch him stare at the trees, the lavendar and the bees. Here is the view from the outside and the inside.

I BABYSAT 2 at the SAME TIME

Halen and Aiden were together again...this time I was the only adult. They were great together! They slept at the same time, ate one right after the other and played on the floor like it was no big deal...lets just hope that it stays this way forever, yeah right?

Aren't they so cute....

My First Mother's Day

What an amazingly different holiday to celebrate when you are a mom. Aiden and Kellin :) made me breakfast, we walked the River Trail and visited Great-Grandpa Bob's bench, made a stop to Grammy and Gumpy Moore's and then to Nana and Papa Westphals to celebrate moms and Papa's 51st Birthday! It was a great day and so beautiful, I am so truly blessed.

Horsin' A round

Some funny pics...from month #4!

First Official Try

Aiden has had rice cereal in a bottle when he first got diagnosed with his acid reflux...however this week we tried a few times of soupy rice cereal with a SPOON! He's not so sure about it, but the chair and the very large tray in front of him seem to excite him. He sure does look cute when he tries to swallow!

First Community Service Gig

Aiden got to experience his first volunteer efforts today at the Arrow Shoot for the Kiwanis. He will be attending many events that his family volunteers at over the next few years, so why not start him young? He even got to wear the attire of the other bow hunters thanks to some teachers I work with (Sera and Chris Osborn) who gave us some flannel to keep warm in. Luckily with this new cold front we just may get to wear all our 3-6 month long sleeved clothes as well!
