What to do when it is 108 outside

Well if you are a Shasta county kid there is only 2 things to do when the temperature outside is unbearable.....

You know you want some of this...

Number 1- GO SWIMMING!

NUMBER 2- EAT POPSICLES (well the modified baby version of frozen watermelon in a mesh popsicle bag)

Ohhh yeah 3 things....Take a nap in the air conditioned house

6month CHECK UP

Today bug had his 6 month check up and shots (oohhh don't you just cringe) He did good. New measurements are

Weight- 19 lbs. 2 oz (75% percentile)

Height- 27 1/2 inches (75% percentile)- where did this come from?

Head Circumference- 44.6 cm (so yes his brain is fine)

Mom, Dad and baby are happy and more importantly so is the doctor. We will spend the next 2-3 months ensuring the monitor doesn't go off and then we will have a second sleep study done (around 9-12 months) in REDDING (not Sac.) and go off the monitor and medicine- YEAH!

Happy Daddy's Day

Our first father's day- a week late!

Breakfast- on the patio (tough to let dad sleep in with a baby)

Mid-Morning walk on the river trail to visit Grandpa Bob's bench

Beautiful day and dinner with the family!

Overall- not too shabby.

As most of you know Josefin and her dad, Roger have been visiting for the past few weeks. We visited all the hot spots of Shasta County and pretty much just let her spoil Aiden. What a lucky guy- he even has girlfriends in Sweden!

My Friend Profit

Aiden has a very dear friend....Dora's doggie Profit, he loves all Aiden's things and they are just his size (as you can tell).

Lake Trip

Aunt Kellee and Uncle Jimmie treated us to our first patio boat on the lake day- it was beautiful and not too HOT (yeah).

You help me...I help you

Isn't this picture hilarious...Halen decided to just use Aiden's fingers to soothe her instead.

It's like the look says, "Come on mom and Aunt Chase you have got to be kidding me here!"

My first SWIM!

Aiden and Kellin decided Sunday afternoon was the perfect swimming day. They just needed the right ingredients
1. One adorable turtle shade pool with spouting head for fun
2. Two fun boys ready to go (one naked!)
3. Water warmed in the sun for approximately 4 hours ( Kellin was worried and then Aiden fell asleep, so it was toasty by the time they got in)
4. Mom armed with her camera and video recorder
5. One beautiful sunny May day kickin' back

He might hate these someday, but I LOVE THEM!
