About Me

Kellin and I have been together since 2000, married in 2006. I am teaching 5th grade and he is an accounts manager for Swanson Bookkeeping. We stay busy, and can't believe that our first born and beautiful son, Aiden will soon be THREE in December!

TWO obsessions...

Aiden goes through lots of fixations or obsessions about things on and off....it usually last like a week to three weeks and then it is on to something new. You know (cars, THomas, trains, Scooby Doo, bad guys, soccer, construction workers, what red light-greee light-yellow light means, etc .) However there is two things that all summer- I mean everyday and everynight these things consume our life, thoughts, and speaking about them often....they are The San Francisco Giants and turkey sandwiches.
The first one I'm sure is the indoctrination of my husband, but now it has completely rubbed off and he will talk about the GIants to anyone- he used to have a deep love for Buster Posey but a two year old can only root for someone on the Injured list for so long, so about a month ago he had to switch to Brandon Crawford. He knows every player and asks to know who every opposing team player is, he watches in Kellin's lap and loves when the Panda or the Beard are mentioned. Kellin is so happy and I just laugh.
The second one started off as a joke...but seriously he would eat turkey sandwichs 3x a day if we let him- I know there could be things much worse than protein with a little cheese, mustard, pickles and thin bread, but it is pretty cute when he asks so specifically what to have. So that has been my summer...and it seems these two things are here to stay.

A Sticky Situation

San Francisco Part 2

This summer since we are gone to Europe for Mike's big bday we had to move our Giants family trip up to July- it was freezing so next year back to August! We had a day game originally but it was moved 3 times and finally was a night game. We went to San Fran in the morning, had fun walking around a bit, got a little confused on the muni bus which allowed for us to see Chinatown and North Beach and then the park.....tailgated with our fabulous family and friends and then got to go to the game. We even got Giants Socks! The game was windy but they won! We had awful fans behind us but we were 12 strong and after the game we actually walked back to Union Square which was pretty nice. We got to watch the awesome USA Woman's World Cup in San Fran together and then ventured back with stops at IKEA and a few outlets- great weekend! Love my family and friends!

Learning to love the IPOD- favorites include Michael Jackson and Baby by Justin Bieber

Cowboy boots- almost getting better at putting them on the right feet!

Aiden and I have had 2 weeks of summer together- its taking some getting used to for both of us, but we love it. We also have started potty training and he is doing awesome- I hope this time around it is for good but, I will admit life was easier in a diaper! I love all his funny stories, questions and the things he wants to wear!
