Chillin' at the DiMatteo's House

SHOTS! SHOTS! SHOTS

Today was Aiden's 1st set of shots...it was horrible (at least for mom)
The first one he didn't cry and then it was like "oh that hurts" bam,

bam, bam here is number 2 and 3! And the wail went out, then he
settled down and ate and we went for a walk outside. We survived
Now he has the war wounds to prove his toughness

Oh yeah

I didn't even realize this was the onesie Emily had picked out for him to wear, pretty fitting for today's events!

Auntie Emily comes home!

Auntie Em came to see AIden last night and today she hung out with us all day! Aiden was so excited to see her (it had been 6 whole weeks!) ...He also had his biggest fan visit, Mr. Andrew Bogue (it had been a whole 6 days for him) :)

Awaiting the Arrival of Miss Halen

We are patiently awaiting the arrival of Miss Halen Rose to Chase and Mike. Poor Chase is having to be very pregnant longer than any woman deserves and Mike is having to deal with the mom and waiting! We are so lucky to have these two in our lives, as they have saved us many nights with our new baby by bringing dinner, a missing Target item or just stopping in to give us someone else to talk to. We can't wait to return the favors to them when she decides to come. Every night if we get a text message or the phone rings we run to get it and hope it is them calling with the fabulous news of her arrival. I like that she is just taking her time getting really healthy but, I know her mom and dad are ready for her to enter this world and Aiden can't wait to meet her. This picture is Kellin and Mike inspecting Aiden while Chase and I were putting away the dinner dishes...it was hilarious to see them leaning over the pack and play checking him over. And, no there is no pictures of Chase at this point because no one should have to remember being 40 weeks and 3 days pregnant! Come on Miss Halen the world awaits you!

Valentines Weekend

Our Valentines Weekend was very full of photo oppportunities. Starting Friday afternoon when mom came to visit and sleep with Aiden while I went to buy Kellin a card and coffee pot (I know super romantic). Then Kellin and I spent the real day with our little guy and his red-white striped Gap suit (Thanks Nana) and on Sunday night Kellin and I went out together for the first time and left him with Papa and Nana who took the opportunity to sleep with him some more. He was everyone's Valentine this year- except mine! Since I am always taking the picture

Not to leave anyone out- I had 3 Valentines!

It really just doesn't get any better than this -especially that we have kicked this cold sicky thing...getting back to normal again.

Our First Cold....my poor baby!

Aiden is suffering through his first cold. Of course being the over protective mom we visited Dr. Lagoc yesterday to make sure it was just a cold. Now we have the sneezing, coughing, runny nose, sleepy, lack of appetite head cold. The cold has brought on a few apenic spells but now we have a warm mist humidifier and we take lots of steam baths so I can squeeze all the junk out with the infamous blue bulb! He hates it and I feel so sad for the little guy. He loves sleeping on Kellin's chest right now because then he can kind of breathe! Oh well, here's to another first!

Walking away the pounds!

Mom and I walked the entire river trail (6.2 miles) with Aiden. It was long and fun. We had to switch positions a few times from the stroller to the Bjorn carrier and back. We lost his hat on the bridge and enjoyed listening to his little noises and visiting Great-grandpa Bob's bench on the trail. Hopefully next time I'll be able to do it a little faster or even run half! Hahhahaha
The last one is mom putting her hat on him since his went in the river- what a dork!

Superbowl - New Traditions

Kellin and I were laughing that in college Super Bowl Sunday became this big game at Chico High and then everyone would get Jamba Juice and then it was home to watch the game. Today, we worried about if we had a football outfit that would fit Aiden.....he slept through almost the whole thing! Even the 3-D commercials :)

But we had fun looking at the college gang!
