Aiden has so many changes every day that sometimes I forget to stop and blog or write down what I notice and love so much. Of course I am getting all sappy as my alone time with him is coming to an end and I enter the world of working moms. I have so many great examples and people to lean on (plus amazing childcare) I know I will be fine, but of course it is scary. Just recently he has started wanting stand on his own leaning against something, loves taking steps while you are holding his hands, has begun trying real human food mashed at his highchair (bananas were okay but we didn't have much interest for scrambled eggs) and he has started babbling mamma and laughing when anyone touches his belly. The words and laughter are music to my ears and I love it so much! I am going to love every minute of watching this little monster grow up into an adorable boy. How lucky am I?

It's a BOY!
Our friends, Tracy, Steve, Egan and Evan Meagher welcomed a beautiful baby BOY into the world July 23rd at 2:22am. This amazing creature weighs in at 10lbs, 5oz. and 22 1/2 inches!
We were so lucky to meet him and can't wait for him and Aiden to play together.

BRITT Festival 2009
This weekend we took our one and only getaway to Ashland to visit Sarah and see the Britt Festival in Jacksonville. Aiden was hilarious because he was so excited before and just hanging out while we enjoyed the outdoor arena, then the opening band came on (they were awesome) and boom by the 2nd song he was out. He slept through them entirely and then when the Cowboy Junkies came out (the main show) he woke up like nothing had happened danced, looked at people and then crashed in the car. It was really fun and a great weekend-thanks for setting it up mom and dad (and thanks for the anniversary tickets!)

A sport i don't understand
Kellin and I have had a pretty interesting summer, so there hasn't been much time for golf...today him and my dad went this evening so Aiden wore this outift that Chris, Bruce and Kaitlyn Forell (our so-cal fam) gave to him for Christmas...it seemed fitting!
In case you can't see it says "My daddy kicks butt of the golf course!"

What is about this video...
Baby Einstein, continues to amaze me. If only I had thought to have children's toys and puppets flash across a screen and put on classical music , I would be rich! This simple series just amazes them. Here Aiden and Cadence were perfectly happy to watch Baby Beethoven, without a care in the world...amazing I tell you and genius when you really need a shower!

Aiden's New Things
Aiden is loving his new walker that Nana and Papa brought home from Oregon....
He also loves to sit on your lap and eat your fingers or the table...
And he loves to take a bath and have his hair made funny (well maybe mom and dad love this, but he goes with it if we tickle him and laugh)
Thought you might like!
Our first TOMATO!
Kellin has patiently been waiting for our tomato plants to produce something....the sun gold cherry tomato has given a few but the others are just loaded with green fruit! Tonight we picked the first tomato and enjoyed them tremendously. Aiden and him every night when he gets home go outside and check out the garden (their little ritual) -I am just happy to sit back and eat them!

This cool shirt...
Today Aiden wore the coolest outfit, my grandma brought it back last year from her cruise to the Bahamas and I thought it was so cute but this afternoon we were hanging out in the backyard and it started changing colors! The fish and the turtle and the words turned pink, white and shades of blue! It was pretty cool so I had to show it off. Thanks GRANDMA MICKI! Oh yeah and we played with the cool ball Nana (mom) got him which is so great because he can actually grab it and "toss" it.
Happy 4th of July
