About Me

Kellin and I have been together since 2000, married in 2006. I am teaching 5th grade and he is an accounts manager for Swanson Bookkeeping. We stay busy, and can't believe that our first born and beautiful son, Aiden will soon be THREE in December!

Halloween Night!

Our son, hated his costume as of last weekend, I mean screamed his head off and made us wonder if we would even get a costume picture. We even had multiple donated costumes, all had a head piece and all ended in tears- until we traded in for the GAP skeleton pjs that was my back up. We put it on him every night for a few minutes, hoping it would lessen the crazy night of Halloween and ....it seems to have worked. He wore it at Grandma and Grandpa Moore's for a quick visit and at the Baby Bash....when it got hot and it was time to have dinner and diaper change Aiden and Halen decided the glow in the dark skeletons were much more their style for watching the World Series Game with dad. So in our old days we would leave to go out at like 9pm but this year, we were home, baby in bed and us soon to follow around 8:30- it was great. Aiden was so much fun and we had a great time! Happy Halloween.

With Grandma Debbie
Balance was a little tough for this little guy with the pumpkin suit

This was much more his style!

Hi Nana!

Carving My Pumpkin

Our first Halloween was so mellow it was great! We went Friday night to JCPennys and had the three little babies pics taken (to follow next week when we get them back) but the morning of we just went for a run (without our jogging stroller that Kellin ran over this week oops!) and then came back and carved our pumpkins. Aiden loved to eat the insides and play with the seeds. We filmed, laughed and then mom quickly carved something into them so he could eat lunch and get a nap in! At 4 it was off to Grandma and Grandpa Moore's and the Baby Bash....to follow on the next blog...

Pumpkin Land and #100

This is my 100th blog post! Holy cow- hopefully you aren't sick of us yet. Well what a great 100- the Pumpkin Patch, we spent our cloudy Sunday afternoon visiting the petting zoo, hanging out in the mini maze and getting some great shots of the little guy in his pumpkin element. He loved it which was so much fun...enjoy!

I think I love this one!

After a crazy start of school, the 7 of us decided that we needed to see each other before Christmas break...so Kellin, Aiden and I headed to Chico Saturday morning and spent the day with the girls! Kellin went golfing all day and we had lunch, shopped, hung out at Emily and Bobby's and had a mini Favorite Things party. Then of course, we came home to put our child to bed while they continued on without us...it was different having to lug the stroller, the car seat and bag and find the paths most necessary for strollers in CHico but, so wonderful and a much needed day! Thanks girls for making it so easy and so FUN! I can't wait for Aiden to continue to sucker all of you into doing whatever he wants...:)
Dressed and ready to go and see the ladies....

I even let them put girlie Halloween socks on me

The boys

Can you see a family resemblance?

Turtle Bay

So I have a confession that I have not been to Turtle Bay in a really long time, like a really long time but I am going to change that (I am asking for a membership for xmas). Today we went to the Walk this Way Free Event and it was awesome. Chase, Kellin, Aiden, Halen and myself got to see the amazing Lego exhibit and the new one - The Scoop on Poop, plus they had all sorts of stuff going on and it was a beautiful day. I had a great time with the family...just had to share...everyone should go next year...its FREE!
