AIR Jumping Place

This week off we have visited the library, Turtle Bay, Jackson Heights (I know why I don't normally take him to school) and today we went to Party ExtraordinAIR....off Ashby. It was really fun, The Lanham's invited us and we invited Whitnee to join us- she bravely brought both girls, as Chase was out of town and so we made it for a whole 90 minutes of bouncing, running and laughing...I'm sure we will be back again!

It was a crazy hunt for eggs

Easter Sunday's plans changed a bit when the crazy weather arrived Saturday night....after Cadence's 1st birthday....so we went to church and opened our Easter basket and went to Nana and Papa's for a little ham dinner and mini indoor Easter Egg Hunt....here's hopin' for next year.

Egg Dying

Easter this year we are trying to do a few of the traditions, starting with dying eggs. It proved to be a great challenge as Aiden wanted to throw the eggs like a ball or bang them together like he does large rocks. As a result most of the hard boiled eggs are "pre-cracked" at our house, you don't have to do it yourself. As for the dye we were trying to keep it off his fingers, off the pj's and from overflowing in the cup-of course while I tried to take a picture and video tape this family moment. In the middle of dying eggs to top things off Aiden decided to take his daily poop-yep so timeout egg dying DIAPER change time, and then mom hurried and did as much as possible before he got back so we could clean up! Oh what fun- at least there's more years to come!

This hair

Seriously this hair somtimes out of control. I love that we haven't cut it yet cause it is just hilarious to see after each nap, shower and clothing change what it is going to look like. Yesterday was a sweaty nap that ended in some crazy curls. I know I will have to cut these baby boy locks someday sooner than later, but for now it seems like what does it hurt? ....and the pictures are priceless.

Hi Wyatt Gilmer

Hi Baby Wyatt....Today I got my 15 month shots and you got your 2 month shots...I think that mean we are stuck friends for life- at least that's what my mom told your mom!

LIttle People World

My teaching partner Alethea has a son who is 4 and he decided that it was time to move the Little People on to "moms friends baby" so Aiden this week got a whole "new" LIttle People Farm Set! Each day I have been bringing home a few more pieces and last night we played for like an hour with it. This morning he woke up and instead of pointing to his movie he ran to the office and started taking out all the little pieces....let the fun begin!

Woohoo Weekend

The Chico Bachelorette/Wedding Shower weekend was amazing. Only Emily Ruffner could put all those things on one weekend and have me leave smiling and laughing not totally exhausted-she is so organized secretly behind our backs. It was a beautiful shower Saturday, followed by ALOT of fun Saturday night and then back to reality Sunday (a slower moving Sunday). I wasn't a mom for a whole 24 hours, just left the boys behind and they were great and as most people were surprised I was totally fine- So now I have met mroe amazing women to enjoy her very special upcoming day (April 24th is less than one month away!)
