About Me

Kellin and I have been together since 2000, married in 2006. I am teaching 5th grade and he is an accounts manager for Swanson Bookkeeping. We stay busy, and can't believe that our first born and beautiful son, Aiden will soon be THREE in December!

Really Lame....I know!

Well I have been off the blogging rocker lately because....well, really life just got away from me. We have had a rough last 2-3 weeks with sickness plaguing our house (Aiden double ear infections, me with a sinus infection, Kellin allergies) and we are getting pretty sick of it. Kellin and I have decided no sickness is allowed for the rest of the 2010 year and we have paid enough trips to our pediatrician and we would like it more if she didn't know us "so" well! Anywho....everyone is medicated and healing slowly, it was one of those times where sleep patterns, food habits and many things that we all had down were thrown out the window, yet again.
Work is nuts, I did get a pink slip and although I would love to say it was no big deal it did bug me for a few days....but I know it is temporary and since I am the last to go I am the first back. Unfortunately now I get to deal with all the politicing side of school that I know I have to be aware of but usually I choose to spectate on- not the case this year. So we just keep plugging away - got to get 800 right (ahhhh stab me in the eye here -every teacher knows what I mean). Kellin just celebrated his 27th birthday on Tuesday and we were very mellow but his work is great and busy (especially since April 15th is right around the corner). He is thinking of getting back into soccer after APril 15th -we'll see if he dies after the first game and he has been obsessed with golf so I imagine that will be his spring/summer past-time.
Aiden is growing taller and really trying to communicate with us...it must be really frustrating cause I think he knows often what he wants but the words still have so many of the same sounds I can really only distinguish "dog" "dad" "mama" "ball" "ba(which we think is bottle or binkie)" "bye bye" and a few nana and papa's or something along those lines. Cute and fun each day . He is also discovering he can't have everything when he wants it so we do get to witness those crying times when everyone obviously is "picking" on Aiden;) He'll survive. Everyday is just a flash and we are trying to remember that the weekends are sacred time to carve out for togetherness and in making our home what we want. Wish us luck, I know these next two months are positively insane and hopefully I can keep up with the blogging and pics...thanks for reading-pics to come soon!

Big Time Shiner

Aiden took a nice digger this morning while running in his footed pajamas through the kitchen right into the sliding glass door runner- it is hard to get the full affect but please dont' call the cops, just another Aiden tumble- this one his own fault! I'm sure it will be the first of many.

Dr. Seuss Night

Aiden had so much fun at Dr. Seuss night this year (last year he sort of slept most of it)- we still have some things he can't do but, making wands, playing Twister, coloring and making goldfish puppets were all accomplished! He loved running around as everyone smiled and ahhhh "ed" over him- that little ham!

Three Little Monkey's

Can you tell which one loves the camera?
Of course Aiden is in his own world

What a ham and thanks Aiden for the cover up shot

I know we tease each other about all having kids the same age but it just amazed this last Sunday. A year ago- well Aiden was the only one alive but I few weeks from now when they all had arrived they seemed so far apart and we kept talking about when they were one- two- three they would just all be the same and now we are getting closer to that age bracket and its TRUE! They just all seem like little toddlers-exploring their worlds, babbling, getting from one place to the next and just enjoying new things. So as we continue to force them to do things like take baths together I love just watching them together. Each one is so unique, but yet still a part of this crazy family- I love you -you little crazy water monkey's and I look forward to lots of time where you get to hang out together more!

I wanna be just like DAD!

Aiden worships Kellin, he follows him around and takes his hat and puts it on and of course he says da-da alot. I know I tease that I am jealous (I mean who fed the kid for the first year of his life?) but I actually really love it. He is such a character these days which means we have good days and bad days, but even in our bad days it seems we have some pretty funny moments....love ya Aiden
