November-What happened to you?

So I just logged onto my blog and thought...what the heck happened to November- I didn't post even once! AHHHHHHH! WEll the month blew by, it was report cards, holiday weeks, Thanksgiving, and Aiden time as much as we could. I also took this crazy Boot Camp class...more about that later! Anyways we are alive and now onto December

A Visit from the Oregon Family

Nick, Shannon, Keaten and Layton came down from Sandy, OR to visit this weekend. We went to pizza, caught frogs, had a breakfast out, Turtle bay and dinner with family....tomorrow holds Halloween fun and more family fun!

The end of our Garden!

So we took out everything except for the insane amount of tomatoes that we still have....or green ones that have yet to ripen...while we collected and cut Aiden enjoyed our one and only watermelon....or baby melon in true garden style-straight from the vine.

Our Garden Pumpkins!

This summer we planted pumpkins, Kellin was really against it but I wanted something that Aiden could watch grow for a long time. It has become our little special plant because we got 3 pumpkins before the end of July! They were supposed to be mini pumpkins but as you can see, we obviously got a "special" plant. Yesterday afterschool Aiden and I went and picked them, cleaned them and set them out for everyone to see. Happy Fall!

A major milestone for us!

So this summer Aiden started "Wanting" to tell us he had to go, unfortunately it was just a lot of telling us and then going tin a diaper or (on the floor) and being confused...we have just left it and tonight when we got home, we had the shower warming up and he came running out to me and said mommy pee-pee- I ran with him back to the toilet acting all excited, watched him sit down and said "good job" then he got up and kept pointing! Surprise he had done it. Now he will probably never do it again...but, I am just amazed that my little baby is getting so big...So ofcourse I grabbed my camera and thought "what a great blog" to get back to life! :) Enjoy and sorry if any of these offend you...had to prove it!

At the Coast

Coast Camping has now become an annual tradition...we are happy to announce we are invited back for the Ryan family event 4 years running! This year was especially fun, cause the kids could play and make us laugh- the adults (ummm....my husband) has serious fun with some interesting "beverage" games and we had a great time. Already looking forward to next year....so here is a few photos!

The Last Days of Summer

So today is sort of the last days of summer. I finished my week long math training yesterday and now I have Friday, Saturday,Sunday and Monday and then its back to the grind. Aiden starts back to daycare, hopefully with not too many bad habits on Tuesday, and for me its time to get to work. Most of you know I had to move classrooms as well as grade levels- I will be teaching a 5th/6th grade combination classroom and it is going to kick my butt and make me stronger. HOwever, in order for children to arrive the next week I have to make it look like a classroom. Now I am pretty proud of myself this summer, I only went 2 days (1/2 days at that) and worked and did minimal work at home. Of course now I am kicking myself in the butt if I start to think about how much Ididn't do but then I try to remember all the times we just played outside or in the water table, or went to the library or had a popsicle...that is the important stuff. SO here's to another summer on its way out quickly...let the craziness begin!
