About Me

Kellin and I have been together since 2000, married in 2006. I am teaching 5th grade and he is an accounts manager for Swanson Bookkeeping. We stay busy, and can't believe that our first born and beautiful son, Aiden will soon be THREE in December!

A new form of entertainment...

Here are the steps:
1st- Check to see if the entertainment center is covered and mom isn't looking.
2nd- Throw yourself backwards and down laughing

3. Realize now you have to do it again

4. Pull yourself up

5. Wait rest, first then AGAIN!

An Aiden pastime is to take himself and throw imself back on these two large pillows and the new one my mom got him for his birthday. He thinks he is so funnny and it is really cute..simple pleasures with all the new toys!

Meltdown!

So Kellin left to work this Saturday morning and no sooner was he out the door when Aiden decided to throw himself to the floor and cry for 15-20 minutes...on and off you know the kind. Then we had breakfast and he decided to have another one...I just laughed and took a picture. You can see the wheels turning as he tries to discover his limitations and ours. Let the fun begin.

Ringing in 2010

So 2010 is right around the corner and I'm ready for it. 2009 was a crazy year but, one that there is parts I would like to move past and now that I have learned from them, need a fresh start. Things are fine and good, but you know when you just feel like a new fresh start is what you need- well let's go 2010 I'm ready for ya. Now at midnight tonight my 1 year old will be snuggled in bed and I'll be scrapbooking with Chase while her husband protects the streets of Redding (and mine rides along with him:)- so it will be great to be with friends and when my husband gets too tired for graveyard shift he will come drive his sleepy family home where tomorrow morning it is a fresh start. I am excited to see what this year brings (I'm know there is some unknown and most likely some bad and good), but hey, carpe diem...its 2010 and we are ready. Happy New Year to my blog readers (hopefully its more than my mom:) Love ya!

Christmas Morning

So it was all worth it to see that face later the next morning...

We had a great morning, he took a great nap and then we had the Moore's over for some more fun....that's his new tricycle from them..

Then it was off to get the mail in our new car and to Dora's for a great dinner.(Which mom and dad got to enjoy this year because #1 aiden was not stopping breathing (like last year) and #2 he took a nap during dinner Woohooo!

We were home by 6:30 and mom and Aiden were crashed by 8:00....what a nice day...now we just have to get rid of these coughs and colds that crept up on us

Christmas Eve 2009

Playing with his new baseball set from Johnny....

Aiden, Nana and Auntie at the Christmas Light Spectacular in Anderson

How cute!

After he is snuggled in his bed the real fun begins.....30 steps later

Our finished masterpiece, one Christmas Eve down...many more to go!

Santa...not really for us

So Santa part 1 went like this....meet Nana(mom) at the mall after calling to see when SAnta has lunch (they say no breaks till 3:30) ...when I get there all of a sudden I am the last person in line before he takes a break and they want me to tell every person who comes and tries to get in line after me that I am last and they won't be back for 30 minutes after me...yeah right, like I am going to break that news. Then we get to Santa- he screams, they take a picture, I hate it and ask them to take another they say 3 is what you get...this one isn't so bad, you know one with the arched back, "what the hell" look on his face, sure we'll take it 12.95 later we leave.....

Santa part 2....daycare is having their Santa party where he arrives and each kid gets called up to see Santa and get a book and a stuffed animal (so cute) -what does Aiden do...scream again, cry, flail and doesn't sit with Santa...
Maybe next year is a better bet

mazzi came to play

My oldest and best friend Kyra has a daughter that is 4 days older than Aiden, never in my life did I dream that we would actually have kids that close together (I mean you say it but, does it actually happen) Now Kyra is a mommy of 3 already so she is good at this staying calm mom thing and I love getting to bug her with my over reacting mommyhood. Well she let me have Mazzi for a few hours to play with Aiden and remind me why I don't want twins:) It was so fun....and aren't they sooo cute together?
